Our remarkable teams work incredibly hard to help us achieve our core purpose: to deliver great quality care and support. The difference they make to the lives of the people we support is immense and we want them to know how much we appreciate them. In addition to the company initiatives listed below, our local teams are encouraged to celebrate each others’ successes in professional and personal ways and we’re always open to new ideas on how we can reward achievements throughout the year.

Voyage Care Excellence Awards

Over 120 people from across the country join together at our Voyage Excellence Awards (VEAs) each year, to celebrate the unrivalled quality of our care and support provision. The highlight of our events calendar, the VEAs are an opportunity to recognise the outstanding efforts and achievements of our people, who provide great care day in, day out to the people they support.

With more services rated as Good or Outstanding by the CQC or equivalent than any other provider, competition for our coveted awards is always fierce! Anyone across the company can nominate an individual or team for an award and we strongly link nominations to our company values.

Our winners’ stories are truly inspirational and the awards evening is invariably a heartwarming, uplifting affair – although there’s rarely a dry eye in the house!

Thank you cards

Thank you cards are a quick and easy way for you to recognise a colleague who has gone above and beyond.

There are five card designs available, each one is linked to one of our values. You can choose the card design to match your reason for saying thank you!

Cards are handed out during team meetings to give teams space to celebrate their successes together. They are also kept on record to support future VEA nominations.

A little thank you goes a long way!

Recognising achievements

Achieving an Outstanding (or equivalent) rating from a regulator or an accreditation, such as from the National Autistic Society (NAS) takes teamwork, determination and commitment. We love rewarding our teams when their hard work pays off and they reach these milestones. Recognition can include a personal thank you letter from the CEO and local parties so the people you support can be a part of the celebrations.

 

Long service award

We have a reward scheme which marks 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of working with us. Employees get a card and a token of appreciation, this is just one way of recognising hard working people.

Staff are rewarded with a voucher that they can redeem at leading high street retail stores, restaurants and with leisure entertainment providers. Stores that are a part of this scheme are Argos, Asda, Footlocker, Greggs, H M Samuel, Iceland, Tesco, VUE, Wagamama, Xbox and many more.
