Frequently asked questions

Does the 50p per hour premium apply to all hours worked between 8pm and 8am every night?: Yes, the premium applies to all care and support hours worked by permanent full and part-time colleagues between these hours, regardless of when your shift starts or ends.
Does the 50p premium apply to all hours worked at the weekend?: Yes, all colleagues delivering care and support between 8pm Friday and 8am Monday are eligible.
If I work overtime on an evening or weekend shift, will I receive both premiums?: Yes, you’ll be paid both the £1 overtime and 50p evening / weekend premiums for these hours
