What does the job of a care worker involve?
Our incredible team at Voyage Care support over 3,500 vulnerable adults and children with learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries and complex needs. This support is provided in either a residential care home, nursing care home, supported living accommodation or support in their own home.
Care worker duties vary day to day, but can include:
- Supporting people to be more independent
- Helping people to communicate
- Helping with personal care
- Assisting with household activities
- Helping people access the community
We offer our care and support workers a variety of working patterns including full and part time roles, along with day and night shifts.

Step one: apply for an exciting new role
Head to our current vacancies page to search for a job in your area. It’s really easy to apply online! After you have applied, our recruitment team will be in touch with you as soon as possible to let you know if your application has been successful and invite you to an initial telephone interview.
