Voyage Care is seeking a part time (24 hours per week) Waking Night Support Worker, to assist People we Support with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Epilepsy, at a Residential Service in Charminster (Bournemouth).

Joining an established and experienced team: the successful Waking Night Support Worker will assist the People we Support in all aspects of their life that they need assistance. Support may include (but not be limited to):

  • Regular welfare checks
  • Personal Care
  • Domestic tasks
  • Medication Administration
  • Managing complex behaviour
  • Managing their epilepsy

Previous experience in a UK based health or social care setting is desirable but not essential as Voyage Care provide full training to all Waking Support Workers.

Experience of working with individuals Epilepsy and a knowledge of PEG would also be an advantage.

Due to the location of this service it is useful if Waking Night Support Workers hold a full driving license. Support Workers who can drive will also have the opportunity to drive the service vehicle to assist the People we Support in the community*.

The available role is for a part time (24 hours per week) Waking Night Support Worker.

Night shifts run from 8pm to 8am.

Please note that the role will include weekend work, and may require Waking Night Support Workers to take shifts on public holidays.
