Night Support Worker – Surrey

 

Voyage Care are currently looking to recruit a Night Support Worker into our services in Lindford on a temporary/permanent basis. As a Night Support Worker with Voyage Care you will be working with a young gentleman who has varying degrees of learning disabilities and mental health needs. You will be promoting independence and supporting him to lead a life that is as fulfilling as possible.

 

The night shift will be a waking and sleep night on a rota basis as per the needs of the service, although we will be as flexible as possible for the right candidate.

 

As a night shift itself, it can involve personal care, administering medication when needed, supporting the gentleman if he wakes during the night, general paperwork/administration duties.

Requirements:

Essential

  • Flexibility. This is a shift-based role that can include working on weekends and bank holidays, so flexibility is essential.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help people
  • The ability to work well independently and within a team
  • The ability to work to robust, clear guide lines
  • Willingness to deliver personal care and medication to those that require it

 

Desirable

  • Driver with own vehicle
  • Prior experience in health and social care is desirable but not essential. We can and will provide full training
