Role Overview:

Our Team Leaders closely support our Service Manager, are responsible for promoting, managing and coordinating care plans. You’ll also play a central role in team leadership, from allocating shifts and training days to overseeing recruitment and induction. You will be central to our service delivery and take a hands-on approach to care management too.

Experienced in senior positions within a relevant care setting you’ll be familiar with appropriate regulations and legislation, skilled in budgeting and administration, and you’ll be ready for early responsibility. In return we’ll support you to work towards a relevant Care and Management qualification.

At 235 Rugeley Road we support adults with learning disabilities, associated complex needs and can also provide nursing support to individuals with significant health needs. The home has been designed to provide an environment that is fully accessible for people who use wheelchairs or have mobility/physical difficulties, whilst maximising each person’s individuality, dignity and privacy.

Requirements:

We are keen to attract experienced staff who can "hit the ground running" and want to progress their career development and invite candidates to apply who can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven experience of the assessment, planning and implementation of service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and decision making skills with an outstanding ability to contribute to working with service users (or prospective service users), families, advocates and other professional colleagues.
  • Experience of all elements of the day to day supervision, training and management of staff.
