About the Role:

As a Support Worker at our new supported living service in Edinburgh, you will support 12 adults with a variety of different needs including learning disabilities and associated complex needs. You will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities.

Whilst no two days are the same typically, you’ll help the people we support with the everyday challenges of personal cares, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support.

We are able to offer flexible contracts including full time, part time and bank. You must be available to cover a mix of shifts including earlies, lates, and sleep in nights.

Early Shift: 8am – 3:30pm

Late Shift: 3:30pm – 11pm

Sleep In Shift: 11pm – 8am

The rota will include 1 week of earlies and 1 week of lates including up to 3 sleeps per week.

Full Time = 37.5hrs per week 

Due to the needs of the people you will be supporting, we do require applicants to have experience working in the care sector.
