As a Support Worker at Barrows Reach you will work with independent people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities, Autism as well as mental health issues. Your aim will be to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible, incorporating both domestic and social based activities. These activities will include meal planning, budgeting, planning activities familiar and brand new. Recently the people we support planned a trip to Cadbury World which incorporated their planning of budget, transportation and preparing lunch for the trip.

You will be enabling our individuals to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful for the person you will be supporting. You’ll will have full autonomy to be out and about in the wider community, enjoying life together and no single day will be the same.

Shift Patterns: 7:00-15:00, 15:00-22:00 and sleep-in’s (22:00-7:00)

Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary.
