About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will work at our supported living service supporting males with mild learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex behaviours that may challenge. You will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities.

Whilst no two days are the same typically, you’ll help the person we support with the everyday challenges of personal cares, menu planning and meal preparation, housekeeping, managing finances, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. This will also include supporting the individual with overnight activities including concerts and tournaments. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the person we support.

We are able to offer full time contracts, to cover the following shifts:

  • Earlies & Lates (8am-3pm & 3pm-10pm)
  • Waking Nights (10pm-8am)

Due to the needs of the people you will be supporting, we are seeking  a MALE who has previously worked as a Support Worker and has experience with autism and challenging behaviour.
