Role Overview:-
As a Support Worker at Oak Lodge you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities as well as mental health needs to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible. Our support workers incorporate both therapy based activities and social based activities.

Oak Lodge is one building which contains 6 flats and the tenants some of whom may have restrictions placed on them under a ‘Community Treatment Order’. Our main purpose here is to teach people all of the daily living and life skills that they would need to enable them to live independently in the community.

We also support people to manage their own risk areas which will ultimately lead to the restrictions under the ‘Community Treatment Order’ being discharged as they make progress. Other areas of support include work placements and social and leisure activities and the most important of all emotional support and reassurance.

The work can be challenging but the rewards of supporting people to achieve their goals make every day meaningful.

Requirements:-
For Support Workers in this location, previous experience is preferred however you will still receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support.

We require male support workers with a full UK drivers license for this role.

**Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary
