Role Overview:

You will join a dedicated team to deliver 2:1 support to a young female with autism to enjoy a fulfilled and independent life.

You will be providing care throughout the day: including waking nights, within the individuals home.  You will be involved in supporting with tasks associated with everyday living as well as facilitating her hobbies and interests in and around the local community.

This is a great opportunity for Support Workers with experience of following a Positive Behaviour Plan or those new to care as it benefits from a co-working environment within community care.

No experience is necessary as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support, however we are keen to attract experienced staff who can "hit the ground running" and wan to progress their career development. 

  • Both Drivers / Non - driver are invited to apply
  • Employed Care Experience- desired but not essential
  • Knowledge of Positive Behavioural Support - desired, but training will be provided.
  • Experience or knowledge of Autistic Spectrum Disorder
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Shared interests including: bird watching would be beneficial
  • Fully flexible to work days and waking nights
  • A Strong team player is essential

**Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary
