As a Support Worker with our Somerset Supported Living team, you will work with people who have varying degrees of physical and learning disabilities as well as mental health issues to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible, incorporating both therapy based activities and social based activities. This position is based in West Quantoxhead, near Williton.

Our Support Workers work with customers on a 1:1 basis or providing core support by promoting independence, including daily living tasks, such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry, and money management. We support the individuals to have meaningful and fun things to do, be healthy and achieve their goals and aspirations.

Support Workers in this location MUST be drivers as it is based in the community, experience is not essential as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support. You’ll join the team working on a rota that includes every other weekend.

Day shifts from 08:00-20:30 and Waking Night Shifts from 20:30-08:00.
