Job Title: Care Assistant

Role Overview:-
As a Support Worker at Grove RC outreach and day service you will work with people who have autism, Asperger’s syndrome and other varying degrees of learning disabilities.  You will promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible, incorporating both therapy based activities and social based activities. You will support people who wish to participate in home and living activities with the opportunity to practice their daily living skills in a supportive environment. You will also support people with activities such as sensory, art, craft, music, movement and drama, gym and community outings. As part of the role you will also support people in their own home, at work, in an educational setting or in the community meeting their wishes, interests and needs.

Requirements:-
Experience is not necessary as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support. Drivers are preferable for the role as you will work between the day centre and community packages in the local area.
