We’re looking for someone with a great heart to come and work as a Support Worker at 24 St Marks Road. Located in Chaddesden, Derby.

No experience is necessary as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support. You’ll join the team working on a rota that includes early, late, weekend, night and Bank Holiday shifts.

We provide care and support to adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. They rely on you to keep them safe, treat them with dignity and support them to live a truly enriched life. You will need to be fit and healthy as assisting with hoists and wheelchairs will form part of the daily tasks. You will also be required to carry out exercise programmes as directed by the health professionals, for example assisting in the hydrotherapy pool.

24 St Marks Road is a welcoming, purpose built residential home for people with physical and learning disabilities. As well as supporting people with their personal care and meals you will be supporting people with their chosen outings such as pub meals, theatre, cinema, disco’s and bowling. You may also be lucky enough to be chosen to assist on their holidays for a week.
