Job Title: Care Assistant

Location: Lofthouse, Wakfield

Pay: £7.38- £7.83

Role Overview:- As a Care Assistant at Wood Dene and Ross Dene, Wakefield you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities and challenging behaviour as well as mental health issues to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible. Our support workers incorporate both therapy based activities and social based activities. You will support people with all aspects of everyday living including personal care, meal preparation, house keeping, supporting with activities and hobbies, day trips and community outings.

Requirements:- Due to the needs of the service, we are looking for support workers with experience for this role. A full UK driving licence is also required as you will be expected to transport the people we support to the day centre and to their activities. Your own vehicle is not required.
