The work can be challenging but the rewards of supporting people to achieve their goals make every day meaningful.  

Twyford House is a residential service in Dover and specialise in providing support to adults with learning disabilities and can display challenging behaviour. The staff team are made up of a group of people, who bring with them a huge variety of experience, skills and knowledge. 

We are perfectly situated in a residential area which is within walking distance of supermarkets, the town centre and the seafront. We are on a bus route from which you are able to reach any area of Dover, as well as Folkestone, Canterbury and links to other areas of Kent. Our residence has access to three vehicles, including a mini-bus, which means we are able to go on action packed days out whenever we like. As you can probably tell, we like to have fun! 


The individuals we support at this service enjoy a lot of community access, so confidence in lone working is essential.  We are therefore looking for Support Workers with previous experience who can hit the ground running. However we will still provide a full training programme that is specific to the needs of the individuals we support.

You’ll join the team working on a rota that includes early, late, weekend, night and Bank Holiday shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a motivated and determined team. So make a great career move.
