Role Overview:

Voyage Care are currently recruiting Support Workers across Flintshire: where our current services provide residential and supported living environments for young people and adults with complex health needs as well as physical & learning disabilities and challenging behavior. 

The individuals we support enjoy a lot of community access: attending college or work placements, discos and other social clubs such as crafts groups, gardening groups and volunteering in the charity shops: therefore, the ability to drive as well as confidence in lone-working is considered essential.



Experienced Support Workers who:

  • join in local activities and encourage others to become involved
  • have a warm and friendly personality
  • be calm and resilient
  • be practical and well organised
  • be confident in your work ethic
  • have a respectful and sensitive communication style
  • be motivated, with a can do attitude
  • have ability to cope positively with challenging behaviors
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) / Care Certificate in Health & Social Care
  • Full Driving Licence is desired
