Job Family: Support Worker

Location: WOLVERHAMPTON, Staffordshire

Pay Rate (£): £8.10 per hour

Pay: £8.10 per hr

*Support Worker required in Perton, Wolverhampton*

Role Overview:

You will be supporting a young male with Learning Disabilities in attending college other daily activities including a weekly disco. You will need to be available Mondays from 8:30 - 10pm & Tuesday - Thursday 8:30 - 5:30pm each week.

Although this is a full-time position there is opportunity for applicants looking for part-time work.

Requirements:

We are looking for likeminded individuals who share similar interests and will be a great fit in helping the person we support achieve their personal and academic goals. 

No experience is necessary as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support, however we are keen to attract experienced staff who can "hit the ground running" and want to progress their career development. 

The individuals we support enjoy a lot of community access, so confidence in lone working is essential. Candidates with either the Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care are invited to apply, as this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a motivated and determined team and a great career move.
