Job Family: Support Worker

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire

Pay Rate (£): £7.38- £7.83 per hour

Role Overview:-
Phoenix House is one of our beautiful residential homes based in the picturesque village of Holt, near Trowbridge. This service specialises in supporting individuals with Learning disabilities to grow and develop. We support eight individuals aged between 18- 64 with complex needs such as; Learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD and some challenge behaviour. Part of this exciting role includes, encouraging activities such as bowling, swimming, walks around the gardens and day trips out.

Requirements:-
Your duties will also include:

  • Helping the people we support to learn new skills.
  • Assisting with day to day living tasks.
  • Ensuring the people we support are encouraged to reach their full potential.
  • Supporting our clients to live as independently as possible.
  • Providing personal care.
  • Moving and handling needs
  • Support with medication and complex clinical needs.
  • Companionship.
  • Support to access activities and socialise with others.

No experience is necessary as all of our staff receive training tailored to the needs of the people they support. You’ll join the team working on a rota that includes early, late, weekend, night and Bank Holiday shifts.
