Scotney Street near New England in Peterborough, consists of two flats housing 3 ladies downstairs and 3 gentlemen upstairs. The ladies and gentlemen have sensory and mobility needs, autism and mental health.

The ladies and gents like support with personal care and all the other things we do to keep a house going. The gents enjoy going to the cinema, to music concerts to see favourite bands at the O2, wrestling, visiting museums, pub and to a work placement at the farm. The ladies enjoy pamper sessions, shopping, bowling and theatre trips.

Every day is different ….. You may be asked to support someone to go on holiday.

Being a driver is not essential as we do also use public transport but it would help and the ladies and gents have a vehicle.

Experience in care is not essential as a good sense of humour is more important. Team work is important but also being able to support one to one after getting to know individuals.
