Pay:  £8.10 per hour

 

Role Overview

You will be supporting a gentlemen who will require you to be patient, kind and caring whilst some understanding of Acquired Brain Injury would be advantageous.

You will be required to provide cover during holidays and sickness of permanent staff, however, normal working hours are Mon - Fri from 10am - 4pm.

The individual we support enjoys a lot of community access, so confidence in lone working is essential. 

Requirements:

We are keen to attract experienced staff who can "hit the ground running" and want to progress their career development. 

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate: or a willingness to work towards qualification. 
  • Experience of working in the community as a care professional would also be advantageous.
  • Full Driving License is desired
  • Employed experience / knowledge of supporting vulnerable adults.
  • A good listener, confidence in lone working, empathy and an understanding of dignity when providing care.
