Voyage Care are recruiting a new staff team in Preston.

You will need to be quite flexible, enjoy working with a team, be patient and understanding as well as dedicated and organised. 

FREE training will be provided in order to ensure our staff meet the needs of the "People we Support" professionally, you will also need to complete the Care Certificate (if applicable). 

Role Overview:

Providing 2:1 support to a lovely young lady who has a variety of physical difficulties, an Acquired Brain Injury and Mild Autism. Being a full wheelchair user and requiring support with feeding, hoisting and all aspects of personal care.

In addition you will support with everyday tasks, in accessing activities within the local community and developing her independence and life experiences.


Day shifts:

Mon-Fri: 6 - 8:30 am & 3-10 pm

Weekends & School Holidays: Mon-Fri :7:30 am – 10:00 pm 

Sleep in shifts:

Mon-Fri: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am 

Weekends & School Holidays 10:00 pm - 7:30 am  


  • Have knowledge of/or employed experience of Acquired Brain Injury/ Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
  • NVQ level 2-3 in Health & Social Care is desired.

**Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary.
