Pay: £8.30 per hour 

Voyage Care are expanding, and we are looking for experienced Support Workers to join our Bank Staff. 

You will need to be really flexible in terms of availability with ability to work at short notices: if required. You must also therefore, be reliable with a friendly personality that enables you to work well alongside others.

We would expect that you have some experience of supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Illness, Physical Disabilities, Behaviors that Challenge and ASD. 

Role Overview:

You will be supporting individuals with everyday tasks as well as encouraging and enabling them to access local activities and amenities that will support their health and well-being: you should therefore have experience and confidence in working with vulnerable people in the community.

  • be practical and well organised
  • be confident in your work ethic
  • have a respectful and sensitive communication style
  • be motivated, with a can do attitude
  • have ability to cope positively with challenging behaviors
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) / Care Certificate in Health & Social Care
  • Full Driving Licence is desired

**Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS Disclosure will be repayable back to us, and deducted from your final salary.
