About the Role:

As a Support Worker at The Knowls in Taunton, Somerset you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities and physical disabilities. As a Support Worker you would be encouraging their independence and supporting them to lead as fulfilling life as possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities.

Whilst no two days are the same typically, you’ll help our residents with the everyday challenges of washing, dressing and eating. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support.

If you are interested in a Full Time position the contracted hours will be 37.5 per week, typical shifts are 8:30am-8pm, however these can change. You will be required to work 1 shift in a 2 week period on either a Saturday or Sunday.


No experience or qualifications are necessary as full training will be provided. Your enthusiasm and passion to really care is what we’re looking for.
