Job Title: FEMALE -  Experienced Support Worker - Full Time - 35 hours per week

Location: Picton near Holywell

Pay: 9.01 Per Hour

Role Overview: Your role as a Support Worker will be to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible. Our support workers incorporate both therapy based activities and social based activities.

For Support Workers in this location, female candidates, with a FULL UK Driving License, experience is Essential ideally should in experienced in manual handling have a knowledge of active support and a person centered approach to care, experience with medication administering is desirable, they will receive training if required tailored to the needs of the people they support.

Requirements:

Essential

  • Flexibility. This is a shift based role that can include working on weekends and bank holidays so flexibility is essential.
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help people
  • A passion for getting the people we support out into the community and supporting them to do various activities and job roles, all the while promoting their independence
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • The ability to work to robust, clear guide lines
  • Driver with own vehicle

The individuals we support enjoy a lot of community access, so confidence in lone working is essential.  We are therefore looking for Support Workers with previous experience who can hit the ground running. However we will still provide a full training programme that is specific to the needs of the individuals we support.

You’ll join the team working on a rota that includes early, late, weekend, night and Bank Holiday shifts.
