This is an opportunity to work with people with a learning disability and/or autism who have variety of different needs and conditions.  You may support people with mental health conditions, neurological impairments, clinical needs, addiction issues, complex behavior and other needs.

The "People we Support may have moderate to severe learning disabilities including autism, mental health and challenging behaviors. Some may have secondary needs including forensic history, substance misuse and/or a history of homelessness.

FREE training will be provided!

Role Overview:

As a Reablement and Support Worker you will be supporting identified individuals who require a high level of support to live a good and meaningful life in the community.

Enablement and Support Workers within Voyage Care are required to have either a higher qualification level or an extra dimension of experience within Social Care Environments. Enablement and Support Workers provide information, social inclusion and vocational opportunities that support people to recover and stay well; 

You will be assisting the “People we Support” to develop appropriate community skills and competences, you will promote personalisation, independence, well-being and choice.

You will be involved in a support pathway, to enable people to learn and enhance their existing living skills. This pathway means, as a staff member you will deliver a variety of support to meet the needs of others and be part of their journey.


You should:

  • Have ability to work positively with people who display behaviour that challenges
  • NVQ Level 2 /3 is essential
  • Full Driving Licence is desired

**Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary.
