Shifts 7.30am-2.30pm; 2.30pm-9.30pm; 9.30pm - 7.30am + Weekends. 

Role Overview:-
As a Senior Support Worker at Cecil Road, you will work with people who have learning disabilities and complex needs to promote independence and support them to lead as fulfilling life as possible.  

The home is based in Dronfield Village, Derbyshire, which is only 7 miles from Chesterfield town centre and 4 miles from Sheffield city centre, and is close to local education and recreation facilities. We have good links with the local community as well as with specialist services in the area such as college courses and supported employment. Residents are encouraged to experience a range of activities tailored to their individual interests. Activities people we support currently enjoy include gardening, visits to theme parks, 3D cinema, discos, and the jump.

Overseeing Support Workers, our Senior Support Workers implement care plans for individuals with learning disabilities and other complex needs. You’ll operate within the home and local community settings providing hands-on care to the people we support, so you can expect total involvement in everything we do.

Our Senior Support Workers have a sound experience of supporting people with varying care needs and are familiar with leading a team; with a commitment to care and a passion for making a difference. Candidates are also required to hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
