This is an exciting NEW opportunity to work with Voyage Care as a Reference Administrator as part of the recruitment function for the on boarding of new starters. This position will be based at our office location in Ashford Kent, this is a newly created position for the company and there is a real opportunity to make your MARK!


Mon - Fri, 9.30am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary £17,062 per annum


To support our business growth in the South East and reduce the reliance on agency workers. With your priorities set by the Managing Director for the portfolio.You will be contacting candidates who are at newly offered stage and where identified, you will make contact to gather outstanding documentation, employment history information, make requests for DBS’ via the central admin team and update the ATS system. Once candidates are at work ready stage, agree start dates with Service Managers and candidates, in addition to working closely with the Recruiters and the group Administrator for the region.

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Chasing references from candidates previous employment via phone and email
  • Speaking to candidates daily regarding gaps of employment and sending through correct information on their behalf to central office
  • Regularly updating the Recruitment ATS system
  • Gaining outstanding information for enablement of DBS request with central admin team
  • Sending updates to central team latest actions
  • Communicating challenges weekly to Recruiters
  • Weekly catch ups with Area Recruiter


The Person

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have great attention to detail and be computer literate
  • Results driven thrive on working to targets
  • Be comfortable being on the phone for long periods of time
  • Have exceptional people/relationship management skills
