Role Overview

As the Recruitment Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the Recruiter to manage the recruitment cycle to meet the staffing requirements for Focused Care. The staff you recruit will be providing support to children with complex needs & their families in their own homes.

The role will also include general administration tasks, such as supporting with handling calls, sending reference requests and taking chasing up documentation where required.

Self-motivation, organisation, and efficiency are key attributes for this pivotal role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advertise vacancies on job boards and other suitable locations
  • Assess the candidate suitability and shortlist by reviewing applications and conducting telephone screening
  • Ensue all paperwork and documentation is collected and fully completed
  • Complete pre-employment checks in a timely manner, this includes references, DBS and health screenings in partnership with the compliance team
  • Participate in marketing and recruitment opportunities including local job fairs
  • Be a brand advocate of Focus Healthcare promoting it as an employer of choice in the local market.
  • Undertake CV searching where we are not getting sufficient response to adverts to need our requirements
  • Prepare new starter documentation and personnel files for new starters.
  • Participate in monitoring Focused Healthcare social media pages and report any inappropriate activity.
  • Produce letter templates, memos, newsletters, reports, spreadsheets etc. as required.
