Job Purpose:

To deliver and lead the qualifications provision that Voyage Care offers to its employees. Manage, maintain and grow the funding that the company receives (Levy, ESFA and Skills for Care) across the whole of Voyage care and to work with delivery partners to support progression.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. To engage the business to increase the work of the company in apprenticeships and all forms of qualification related activities including external partnership relationships
  2. Manage, maintain and optimise the Funding MIS System (MAYTAS) and regularly provide and analyse reports that are utilised to improve outcomes for learners.
  3. To lead the planning, development, delivery and monitoring of apprenticeship and full cost programmes; the day to day operation of those programmes with the Head of Department, ensuring that the curriculum is delivered efficiently and effectively across all areas of the business.
  4. Develop a culture of continuous improvement and develop a plan that will deliver innovative programmes of delivery to the staff of Voyage Care.
  5. Develop further qualifications that will support development of job roles within Voyage care at both Group Support and Operational level.
  6. Manage the company’s obligations and regime for all processes and engagement activity related to OFSTED Inspection (SAR, QIP, EIF & Nominee)
  7. Continually grown the young apprenticeship programme within the business to build the reputation of Voyage Care as a market leader in the Social Care Sector.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Health & Social Care Sector
  • Good general level of education including English & Maths to GCSE or equivalent standard
  • Appropriate Occupational / Professional Qualifications Assessor Awards.

Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required.
