Voyage Care South is looking for a Band 2 Physiotherapy Assistant to join our small and friendly team. This post will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work alongside our supportive team of experienced therapists and assistants in providing a high quality assessment and intervention service to persons we support across various services. The people we see have a variety of conditions including LD, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ABI etc., often with complex physical and learning needs. You will work within clinic settings and nursing and residential homes. You might be expected to assist in assessment;, to advocate for PWS on appointments; to deliver individual or group therapy programmes; to educate supporting staff, PWS and their families; to assist with referrals; liaising with external agencies/services; to assist with support plans writing, and to deliver hydrotherapy sessions.

You will need the following:

- Able to work independently, with excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills

- Able to write reports - basic IT skills are essential

- Able to travel between sites - driving licence + own vehicle

Previous experience of working in healthcare and delivering therapies (sport/massage/physio etc.) is highly desirable, not necessary.
