Purpose – A key role supporting the Benefits Manager and Accounts Receivable Managers to create and manage a new team responsible for the management of all personal debtor accounts currently in use, and all additional invoicing requirements as a result of a new project.


  • Responsible for creating and managing new processes alongside the management team.
  • Coach, manage and develop Personal Finance controllers
  • Regular reporting to identify debtors and liaising with stakeholders in order to seek recovery.
  • Monitor unallocated cash reports, and take appropriate action to reduce.
  • Provide regular progress updates to wider management team.
  • Performing regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolving any issues swiftly.
  • Creating and uploading daily cash and cheque journals.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to follow up on outstanding invoices by phone or letter, and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Proactively review and develop processes to ensure efficiency within the team.
  • Create and maintain working relationships within the wider finance teams.
  • Providing assistance to the Benefits Manager and Accounts Receivable Managers with monthly reporting.
  • Answering complex queries and complaints.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and training where appropriate.
  • Ensuring team targets are achieved.
  • Ad hoc duties when required.



Person specification

  • Experience of managing a team is desirable
