Voyage Specialist Healthcare are recruiting: RGN /Adult / Paediatric Nurse

Region: Hartlepool

Salary: £35 - £37,000 DOE - plus Company Car allowance.

Role Overview:

Providing support in Adult & Children’s Complex Healthcare needs in the community, we are a team of Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants and Care Coordinators that provide healthcare support to children/young people within their own homes and other community settings such as respites, hospices, adventure playgrounds, special needs schools and foster placements.

Our Clinical Managers will require clear communication skills to liaise with both families, Adult & Children’s Community Nursing Teams and healthcare workers you will be expected to utilise your skills and experience to meet exceptional high delivery of care to adults, children and young people with complex health needs. We are looking for passionate team players who possess a can do attitude and the desire to go above and beyond what is needed to thrive within a fast paced dynamic environment.

Ideally applicants should have experience of working in the community as a RGN or Paediatric Nurse.

Requirements:

  • To take full accountability for the management of a clinical case load in the community setting
  • To train staff on clinical and delegated nursing tasks, supporting and motivating team members
  • To organise and prioritise workload of the team by working alongside the coordinators for each area.
  • To provide Clinical Supervision on a regular basis to designated staff members.
  • To conform to NMC requirements by keeping up to date with current trends and developments in nursing and to demonstrate evidence of such.
  •  To ensure all nursing practice is in accordance with the NMC Codes of Conducts
  • Maintaining a flexible working pattern to meet the needs of the business. This means that you will be asked to work a more flexible shift pattern so that we can maintain delivery of our services in the evenings or at weekends.
  • To participate in a shared on call rota alongside coordination staff.

Voyage Care operate a 24/7 service and you may be required to undertake other duties commensurate to your role and/or working hours, as may reasonably be required of you at any other sites, premises or locations in the community, and within the homes of people we support.  The Company may reasonably require you, on an occasional or frequent basis, to meet the changing needs of service provision.
