Focused Healthcare Specialist Children’s Complex Healthcare Providers are a team of Registered Paediatric Community Nurses, Children’s Clinical Educators, Healthcare Assistants and Care Co-ordinators that provide health care support to children and young people within their own homes and other community settings such as respite, hospices, adventure playgrounds, special needs schools and foster placements.

We currently have a new and exciting opportunity for a Management Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team, based at our offices in London Bridge.

Job Purpose:

To assist the Finance Director in ensuring the financial records, management and statutory accounts are accurate and produced on a timely basis to assist senior managers to make sound financial decisions.


Key Result Areas:

  • Maintain the Sage 50 Accounts database.
  • Preparation of weekly bank reconciliations.
  • Reconcile petty cash and purchasing card returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts pack to include P&L, balance sheet, trial balance and cashflow.
  • Regular reconciliation of allocated balance sheet control accounts to ensure they reflect an accurate position of the company’s assets and liabilities.
  • The preparation and maintenance of prepaid costs thereby ensuring that the profits and losses are neither under nor overstated for invoiced costs which are for a period greater than one month.
  • The preparation and maintenance of accruals to ensure that the Profit and Loss account is not misstated.
  • Prepare and input all Profit & Loss adjustments to ensure accurate information is available to senior managers.
  • Assist in the preparation of the analysis of monthly revenue to make certain that invoicing has been undertaken correctly and identifying any potential errors thereby ensuring that income is maximised and correctly reported.
  • Assist with day to day treasury management, including processing BACS payments.
