JUNIOR HR ADVISOR

Based Lichfield, with some travel expected. A fantastic opportunity for a Junior HR Advisor.                      

Be part of a forward thinking and supportive team within Voyage Care by becoming one of our Junior HR Advisors. 

We are working hard to transform the HR provision within Voyage Care and are looking for HR professionals to join our team at this very exciting time. 

You will be based in the Group Support office in Lichfield, providing support to 3 of our regional operations teams as part of a team of HR professionals. 

The diversity and breadth of this role makes it a great position for a Junior HR Advisor looking for a position to help stretch them and prepare them for an Advisor position in the future. 

The Services within Voyage Care provide high quality support to adults with learning disabilities, acquired brain injuries, communication difficulties and additional complex needs.

Your responsibilities                                  

  • Support with all people management issues and deliver solutions in accordance with business requirements
  • Provide support with all aspects of employee relations and ensure all are progressed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner
  • Be the first point of contact for all HR elements across your 3 regions, providing first line query handling and specialist HR advice in relation to HR policy, practices and procedures
  • Proactively manage a high and complex employee relations case load, escalating issues as needed, influencing and coaching managers on how to proceed ensuring a commercial, but legally compliant, approach
  • Work collaboratively as member of the HR function to deliver high quality service and provide regular communication and information exchange between team members
  • Support you will provide

    • Provide regular telephone and email advice as required
    • Travel around the regions as necessary
    • Ensure commercial, consistent and business focused support and advice as part of a team of HR professionals
    • Be flexible in line with business needs where necessary

     

    With high levels of access to stakeholders this is a great role to increase visibility, experience and knowledge.
