We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking, highly organised and customer focussed individual to join our busy IT Team, based at our Head Office in Lichfield.

Job Purpose:

Under the management of the IT Support Manager provide an efficient and effective administrative service for the IT Support and IT Development teams. 

This will include providing assistance to IT & Programme Director and Project Managers.

Key Result Areas:

IT Administration

  1. Monitoring the IT Support email address to identify requests relating to the scope of work being covered
  2. As required, placing orders with suppliers and monitoring delivery for IT equipment
  3. Arranging the distribution and collection of IT equipment across the company
  4. Where possible, re-directing requests for assistance to the appropriate team
  5. Loading and monitoring procurement requests into the Order management system
  6. Administering the supplier finance management process, including receiving IT invoices, matching invoices to orders, obtaining relevant sign off for orders and invoices and working with the Finance team to ensure efficient governance and payment of IT spend
  7. Collecting documents for scanning and archiving, and administering the dispatch, scanning confirmation and invoicing with our supplier for this service
  8. Assisting the IT teams in licence management
  9. Assisting the IT teams in asset management

 

Skills / Experience:

  • Experience in working in a busy fast paced environment with a proven track record in administration.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi task and deal with constantly changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with managers at all levels.
  • Accurate record keeping and extremely high level of attention to detail.
  • Good computer skills with knowledge and experience of using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook. 
  • Take responsibility and ownership of tasks to ensure completion on time.
