Voyage Care is seeking exceptional Floating Support Workers to provide support to individuals with; Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Enduring Mental Health Issues, across our Supported Living and Outreach Services in Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch.

Floating Support Workers will assist the People we Support in all aspects of their life that they need support. Support may include (but not be limited to):

  • Personal Care
  • Medication Administration
  • Community Access
  • Financial Assistance

Previous experience in a health or social care setting working with individuals with Autism and Learning Disabilities is desirable but not essential. Voyage Care provide full training to all Floating Support Workers.

Due to the locality of the services it is highly desirable that Floating Support Workers hold a full driving licence and have access to transport.

Voyage Care are able to consider full and part time Floating Support Workers for these roles. All Support Workers will be required a mixture of early, late and long day shifts.

Please note that the roles will include weekend work, shifts on public holidays and some sleep in shifts.

  • Work within the company’s ethos of providing person centred care
  • Are compassionate and understanding
  • Are reliable and conscientious
  • Have a good understanding or written and spoken English and basic Mathematics
  • Are flexible in the shifts they can work
  • Currently hold or are prepared to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
