Job Title: Deputy Service Manager 

Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire

The successful candidate will be required to;

  • Work the following shifts: 7.30am-3:00pm; 2.30pm-10:00pm with on-call 1 in every 3 weeks or more if Management are off. 
  • Cover: 4 shifts on the floor (supporting service users) and 1 non support day (admin etc). 

Candidates also need to have a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care qualification and minimum of 1 year in Management / Deputy Position and also a Full UK (Manual) Driving Licence. 

Pay Rate: £11.03 per hour

Role Overview:-
As a Deputy Service Manager at 235 Rugeley Road, you will support adults with learning disabilities, associated complex needs. The home has been designed to provide an environment that is fully accessible for people who use wheelchairs or have mobility/physical difficulties, whilst maximising each person’s individuality, dignity and privacy. 

Requirements:-

You will be required to monitor senior support staff in effective record keeping and team management. The deputy manager will have great attention to detail to oversee the daily recording of the service. From allocating shifts and training days to overseeing recruitment and induction, you will be central to service delivery and you’ll take a hands-on approach to care management too.

Experienced in senior positions within a relevant care setting you’ll be familiar with appropriate regulations and legislation, skilled in budgeting and administration, and you’ll be ready for early responsibility.

**Should your employment with Voyage Care terminate for any reason within the first 3 months of your employment start date, the full cost of the DBS will be repayable back to us. Deducted from your final salary.
