About the Role:

Across our services, we support adults aged 18-65 with a variety of different needs including learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs and behaviours that may challenge. We support people to leave hospital settings, to live a good and ordinary life in their own home as part of a community. It takes passion, dedication and resilience to lead a team providing this type of support – do you have what it takes?

As a Field Care Manager, you will promote good practice at all times and act as an effective and positive role model. You will be responsible for line managing and supporting Senior Support team members, creating and maintaining person centred support plans and ensuring high quality care and support is being provided to the people that we support. You will also be involved in the day to day running of the hub/branch which will include responsibilities around setting up new schemes, assessments, support plans, reviews, medication, finances, supervisions & appraisals, communicating with support staff and providing them with support, ensuring staff training & compliance is up to date, rota management and oncall duties.

Although this role is predominantly off rota, there will be times where you will be required to provide hands on support. You will also carry out other duties designated by the manager and will be required to be the Acting Branch Manager in their absence.

Previous senior/leadership experience is required for this role and you must be working towards or have attained your SVQ/NVQ Level 3. You will be familiar with relevant legislation, budget management and administration and you will have previous experience in learning disabilities, mental health, complex needs and Positive Behaviour Support.

The Deputy Branch Manager role is a 37.5hr contract primarily working Monday to Friday although some flexibility will be required in order to meet the needs of the individuals and provide effective support to the staff team. This will also include part of a 24/7 on call rota which includes evenings and weekends.
