We provide bespoke care within our packages in the community and work with a range of specialist multidisciplinary team members in the community in both educational and home setting. We are currently seeking a highly skilled, motivated and dedicated Paediatric Nurse to join our Clinical Team for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager covering a region within London

Role Overview

The Clinical Nurse Manager will be motivated and innovative, with strong leadership, management and communication skills, to ensure that the care delivered is safe, effective and reliable. Working with children and young people with complex healthcare needs (and their families), they will assess, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based, family centred care and collaborate with professionals across agencies and sectors ensuring effective service delivery. The Clinical Nurse Manager will also assist, as part of the wider team, in the development and delivery of our complex care services. This will require being responsive to need and to communication through co production of packages.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible and Accountable for safe and effective management of a clinical case load in the community setting;
  • Work effectively within the clinical team and wider organisation;
  • Carry out staff appraisals and supervisions for Nursing staff and Healthcare Assistants;
  • Safe and effective management of complaints and clinical incidents;
  • To assess, plan, implement and regularly evaluate the child/ young person’s holistic care, in partnership with the family and multidisciplinary team, ensuring documentation is maintained and updated;
  • Adhere to Company`s Clinical Governance Procedures
  • To maintain accurate and contemporaneous records, in line with local policies and NMC guidelines and ensuring up to date care plans are in place;
  • To undertake clinical audits and be involved in developing and leading service improvements;
  • To conform to NMC requirements, by keeping up to date with current trends and developments in nursing and demonstrate evidence of such;
  • To ensure nursing practice is in accordance with the NMC Codes of Conducts;
  • Maintaining a flexible working pattern to meet the Clinical needs of the care package for the child/ young person;
  • To participate in clinical governance and risk management procedures, in line with policies and guidelines;
