Voyage Care are recruiting a Nurse Clinical Manager to join our busy team.

Supporting Complex Healthcare needs across the North East to include Hartlepool, Durham and Middlesbrough: we invite applications from RGN/RCN, Registered UK Nurses.

We are a team of Registered RGN/RCN Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Field Care Supervisors and Care Coordinators that provide healthcare support to young people/ Adults within their own homes and other community settings such as respites, hospices.

You will need to be motivated and innovative with strong leadership, management and communication skills. The role requires a dynamic and flexible approach to the day to day management of nurse led packages of support.

The role will require clear communication skills to liaise with families, Community Nursing Teams and healthcare workers. Ideally applicants should have experience of working in the community as a Nurse.

The role requires the ability to make robust clinical and risk management decisions based on evidence based practice and sound clinical knowledge, whilst taking into account the views of the people we support and their families

The essential qualities we are looking for in our Clinical Manager role are:

  • Registered UK Nurse.
  • Self-motivated, responsible and able to act on their own initiative and work well in a team
  • Strong organisational and management skills
  • Demonstrate good listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deal professionally with nurses, healthcare workers and families and with allied professionals
  • Able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Be prepared to undertake other training that would benefit the role
  • IT skills
  • Have an understanding of the needs of adults with complex health needs and learning difficulties
  • Have a good knowledge of safeguarding procedures up to level 3
