Voyage Care are currently recruiting a Care Coordinator to join us at our regional office based in Christchurch. The Care Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Support Worker team at our Supported Living services across Dorset that provide support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated Complex Behaviours.

The Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for day to day operational requirements of the care team, ensuring that the people we support receive the provision of care that has been commissioned to them.

Care Coordinator Role Requirements:


  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent administration skills
  • A polite and professional telephone manner
  • The ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Full driving license and access to own transport


  • Experience in a care environment would be beneficial but is not essential for this role
  • Prior experience of managing/coordinating a staff team
  • Previous experience of maintaining compliance documentation
  • Experience working on CM2000 and/or Cold Harbour. Full training will be provided if you don’t have experience with this.


  • The role is predominantly office based. Please note that it will involve shift work. Shifts are 7.5 hour blocks worked between the hours of 07.00-18.00 Monday to Friday
  • There will be an element of weekend work on a rota basis (you will have 2 days off during the week in lieu of any weekend work undertaken)
  • There is an on call rota that you would be required to be a part of
