Care Coordinator – Eastleigh – Full Time, Permanent - £18,360 Per Annum

Voyage Care are currently recruiting for a Care Coordinator to join us in our office based in Eastleigh, Hampshire. The Care Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the care delivery team to ensure that the people we support receive the provision of care that has been commissioned to them. The Care Coordinator will also be the first point of contact for day to day operational requirements of the care team and the people we support.

Care Coordinator Role Requirements:

Essential:

  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn new computer systems
  • Excellent administration skills
  • A polite and professional telephone manner
  • The ability to work well under pressure

Desirable:

  • Experience in a care environment would be beneficial but is not essential for this role
  • Driver with own vehicle would be highly advantageous
  • Experience working on CM2000 and/or Cold Harbour. Full training will be provided if you don’t have experience with this.

 

Care Coordinator Role Responsibilities:

  • Receiving inbound calls
  • Working to resolve any absence issues in the staff team by calling around our bank staff and staff not currently on shift to see if they would be able to help cover and re-locating support workers when needed.
  • You’ll be the first port of call for any payment queries.
  • You will be responsible for writing rotas and recording any changes to these onto our data entry system (Cold Harbour).
  • Updating staff personnel files
  • Ensuring staff have signed into their shifts correctly on our monitoring system
  • Working alongside the Branch Manager and Field Support Supervisors to ensure all paperwork for the people we support is up to date.

 

IMPORTANT

Whilst this role is predominantly office based, please note that it will involve shift work. Shifts will run between the hours of 07:00 – 18:00 Monday to Sunday. You will be required to work 1 in 4/5 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday) but will receive days off during the week when required to do so. There is also an on call rota that you would be required to be a part of. When we have a full complement of office staff the on call is 1 week in 5.
