Voyage Care is seeking outstanding Bank Support Workers to provide support to individuals at our Outreach and Supported Living Services in the Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole areas.

Voyage Care provides support to adults with; Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Enduring Mental Health Issues.

Bank Support Workers will assist the People we Support in all aspects of their life that they need support. Support may include (but not be limited to):

  • Hobbies and interests
  • Community Access and visiting friends/family
  • Financial assistance
  • Domestic chores
  • Medication prompting/administration
  • Personal Care

Voyage Care provide fully paid training to all Bank Support Workers.

Due to the location services Bank Support Workers need to hold a full driving licence and have access to transport.

Bank Support Workers will be offered a mixture of early, late and long day shifts, including weekend work, shifts on public holidays and some sleep in and waking night shifts.

Voyage Care ask that all Bank Support Workers:

  • Work within the company’s ethos of providing person centred care
  • Are compassionate and understanding
  • Are reliable and conscientious
  • Have a good understanding of written and spoken English and basic Mathematics
  • Are flexible in the shifts they can work
  • Currently hold or are prepared to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
