About the Role:

As a Support Worker at Regent Court in Huddersfield, you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, mental health needs and challenging behaviour. You will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities.

Whilst no two days are the same typically, you’ll help the people we support with the everyday challenges of personal cares, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support.

We are currently recruiting a support worker to join our established and experienced team of superheroes. You must be flexible and able to commit to earlies and lates inclusive of alternate weekend working. We also require flexibility to pick up waking night shifts on an occasional basis.

Due to the needs of the people we will be supporting, it would be great if you’ve previously worked as a Support Worker with experience of learning disabilities.
