About the Role:

As a Support Worker at our brand new supported living service in Scarborough, you will work with one individual with specialist behavioural support needs. Within a specialist behaviour support setting you are supporting extremely vulnerable and complex individuals with a variety of different needs such as dual diagnosis, autism, forensic background and learning disabilities.

You will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities.

Whilst no two days are the same typically, you’ll help the people we support with the everyday challenges of personal cares, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support.

We are currently recruiting male support workers to join our brand new team of superheroes. You must be flexible and able to commit to days and waking nights inclusive of weekend working.

Due to the needs of the person you will be supporting, it would be great if you’ve previously worked as a Support Worker, although this is not essential. Your values, resilience and passion for providing the highest quality support is most important to us. We provide you with a bespoke training programme inclusive of a robust induction and shadowing schedule to ensure you are fully confident in your role.
