**Experienced Support Workers Required**

Wigan, Greater Manchester

Pay: £8.30 per hour

Full/Part time & Bank contracts available

Role Overview:

Voyage Care require and new staff team in Wigan. 

Our services provide vulnerable individuals with the perfect supported living environment which promotes and maintains their independence and well-being. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac each house provides a safe, warm and individualized home to the People we Support.

Your role will be to engage with people who may need help with:

  • Behavioural Support
  • Challenging Behaviour
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Mental Health

You will support people with everyday tasks such as making meals, cleaning their home, going shopping or paying bills: in addition to helping them identify and achieve their own goals and ambitions, this may include starting work or attending college. 

Shifts will include early, late's and  sleep & waking nights across weekdays and weekends: so a great deal of flexibility is required.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Support Workers
  • NVQ level 2 in Health & Social Care, Care Certificate or a willingness to work towards qualification.
  • Fully flexible - to include most shift patterns
  • Be patient, calm and understanding: with a strong desire in helping others to succeed.
