We are seeking a Music Facilitator to plan and develop music sessions that deliver meaningful and stimulating content for the individuals that attend our day service.

As a Music Facilitator you will be responsible for offering a range of sessions each day to support the service users to gain more independence and learn new skills within a music environment. We have a range of instruments within the session room to support this.

 Reporting to the Manager, you will work with the people within our service in order to meet their needs.  Supporting the individuals and their staff to participate in a range of musical activities based on their abilities.

 Working as part of a team, you will liaise with the Occupational Therapist / parents/carers and staff from other agencies and organisations to assess individual’s strengths and developmental needs. You will also provide guidance to the support staff to implement the music sessions.

We are looking for someone to come and put their own stamp on the session room and come up with a range of new and exciting activities for the people we support to take part in. You should be well educated, with excellent verbal communication skills, with an outgoing personality and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
